My baby is 14 months and most things I know I cannot take him on, but will they let me take him on Animal Kingdoms Kilimanjaro Safaris?Epcots virtua ride Soarin? Disneys Liberty Square Riverboat? We are not looking to do shows, but any other suggestions on what you can do with a baby would be appreciated. Thanks!

  1. I've been to all of those places with my young children and you will be surprized how many things they can ride.  I know babies can ride Kilimanjaro, and the riverboat, not sure about the one at Epcot--we skipped that park.

The shows are awesome and the baby might be more interested than you think.  Lots of colors and music and lights, my babies loved it.

Universal and Sea World might be a little less fun for the baby, the rides are more suited for older children in my opinion.

Rent the stroller they offer, much better than mine that I brought from home.  And the changing stations at Disney are awesome places to take a break.  My advice is to find them in all parks.

    Have fun!

  2. There are very few rides there that allow a baby in arms.  Soarin' won't.  The Riverboat ride doesn't have any seats, so everyone can ride it.  Pirates of the Carribean might.  You need to check the Disney World website for ride restrictions.

Personally, I don;t think there's much the baby will be able to do.  Be sure to take your stroller - there's lots of walking in all of these parks.

    :o)

  3. you can not take him on soarin  its less mild then u would think   um  kilimajaro safaris  yes   river boat yes  also  sea world they have a play area he can go into and also go to all the shows   in disney he can go on its a small world. pooh bear  ride  peter pan  things like that  only really rides he would not be able to go on is  the coasters at disney but everything else he can be on your lap for

  4. I know for a fact that your baby can not ride Soarin' because guest must be 40 inches or taller to ride.  The Riverboat should be fine as well as all the rides in Fantasyland.  I don't think it's wise to bring your baby on the Safaris because it's very bumpy and the car jolts around alot.

Disney does offer child switch pass-

You can get the pass by finding a Cast Member near the entrance of the ride. Once there as the whole group tell them that you would like to get a Child Switch Pass and present the child that can not or will not ride.  One or two members of the group will watch the child while the rest of the group goes on the ride.  When your group returns, you and one other person will present the pass to the cast member and he will escort or show you the way to the front of the line or as close as possible (usually a fastpass line). If you are traveling with a smaller group, some members can even ride twice- first waiting in line then using the switch pass.

FYI: This pass only allows one or two people to ride the attraction without waiting, not a large group meaning 2+.

BONUS: It is not given to one or two specific people, so if the person who watched the child decides not to ride, a couple people from the group can ride again without waiting.

  5. NO SORRY

  6. yes you can take him on those rides. i went this summer and saw lots of babies on the safari and on the riverboat.

  7. i know you can take him on kilimanjaro safaris, and disneys riverboat, but i dont think you'll be able to take him on Soarin...at universal you and your wife/husband can babyswap, so one can ride a ride you want to ride while the other one watches the baby, and then as soon as one parent gets off the ride they will take the baby while the other parent gets immediately on the ride and rides...very conveniant=]
