  1. You can get the aircoach to the city center for something like 12euro, Most of the shops there are quite expensive. While in dublin you should also go to Dundrum Town center (The largest shopping mall in Europe)

  2. you should go visit the guinness store house, get a tour of croke park.

if your in the city centre check out stephens green, nice park.

    plus kilmainham gaol.

  3. Hi, from the airport it will cost around 12 euros return,on Airlink bus when you get to O'Connell St you will see the tour buses they take you to all the main tourist attractions, it's a hop on hop off bus all day, and cost's around 14 euros, Guinness factory is well worth a visit you get a 360 degree view of the city, it's lovely.  You wont be able to visit all the main tourist attractions in one day, but you will see them all.  I would do the tourist buses in the morning as Henry St. (just next to the Post Office on O'Connell St) is fantastic for shopping, also go into Cleary's Department Store (across from Post Office) The Post Office is also worth a visit inside, it takes you back in time, You can get cheap food, Flannagans is good it's just past McDonalds nr. the bus information centre. You will have a great time in Dublin i love it i have been 3 times in the past year.

  4. http://www.viator.com/tours/Ireland/The-... < -- This gives you a basic rundown of things to do in Ireland.

The Guinness house, Dublin Zoo, Croke Park, Wicklow Jail , Kilmanen Jail and the GPO which  is a post office with a great historical significance to it are great things to see.

In Dublin, The best night life is definitely in Temple Bar. It’s big and It’s modern while it has loads of history and culture to it too.

    It's extremley expensive though.

Here are some sights on Tourism in Ireland:

    Good Luck. = )

  5. Delighted to hear you're visiting my native city!

    1.  I think Kilmainham Jail is a must, since it is a seminal point in modern Ireland (where the rebel leaders were executed in 1916, eventually resulting in British withdrawal in 1921). The Guinness storehouse experience is also great and a look at the Book of Kells (amazing illuminated manuscript) in Trinity College is a great cultural buzz.

    2. €6 single; €10 return on the direct 747/748 AirLine bus (Dublin bus). Aircoach is €7/€12. Both services leave frequently and take about 25-35 mins, depending on traffic.

    3. Depends what you mean by expensive, and what things cost where you live! Dublin - average pint of beer/Guinness is €4.50. There are cheap eating places - there is a place on Lower Liffey Street where you can eat all you want for about €8.

My site has some more ideas - have fun:

  6. There is quite a lot to fit in, but it really depends on what you are looking  for, just google Dublin to find out it`s attractions that suit you.

i enjoyed the Guinness and Jameson's brewery trips, but you may find that will take up too much of your time,

as for the bus fair, i cannot see it being much more than 5 euros, and yes it is expensive in Dublin, a pint of Guinness is around 5 euros, although if you go on Temple bar it can be dearer than that, however i can recommend food in the Arlington on Bachelors walk, you can get a good meal from the buffet /carvery for 10 euros and they have live entertainment on in the evenings, also in the Panama bar on the same road you can get a pint of the black stuff for around 4.30euros say hello to my friend Declan at the bar.

if your looking for a real rustic Irish pub then i can recommend The Celt bar.

now you know why i go to Dublin!
