Going to England for my year 6 from Canada?? (What schools?)?

HEy, so im from British Columbia, Canada and I'm currently in grade 11. I learned from a previous question that grade 11 is equivalent to year 12 (correct me if i'm wrong). And that year 12 and year 13 are called form 6, the year people study for A levels.

I don't mind repeating my grade 11/year 12 in England, but I havnt taken my GCSE/GCE o levels.

so i have 2 questions:

1. is there any way I can go to England (I REALLY wanna go) for my form 6 year even though i haven't taken my GCSE's??

2. Are there any schools that would be so accomadating as to help me work everthing out?? I'm sure im not the first person to want to go to England for form 6...

  1. can you give us more information? are you wanting to goto a public school (private) or a state school (local area council ran), or are you wanting to go to a college? as they also do A levels too.

in that case you should consider public school as the state ones dont normally have boarding or accommodation.  try looking up these two sites to see if they are offering what you are looking for.

i would have given you the websites of the private schools and universities,  but i do not know what part of England you are considering and its a big place. so i do hope this can lead you in the right direction. you can contact someone on the government website to lead you in the right direction also, they are very helpful people.

good luck and i hope you enjoy England. its a lovely place to visit, been to different parts myself, its great.
