Going to Ethiopia for the first time?

I am planning to visit Ethiopia soon, and I wanted to know if anyone knew where to find cheap tickets? Also, this is my first time leaving the country (hopefully not my last), so it would be nice to find a flight that makes stops in other countries too. Does anyone know if any good deals? or where to find them?

Well I just went their from June 14th to July 14th (spent two days in Dubai). Well first off I would say that you should go on emirates which has an extremely nice plane with an extremely nice entertainment. About a thousand movies with a couple hundred tv shows all free. Then the service is very nice and great. It is also pretty cheap not to much and I didnt lose any baggage on all 4 flights on emirates (new york to dubai and dubai to ethiopia and back). I am pretty sure emirates always will stop in Dubai which is an extremely nice city which I am sure you will love. You get two days their and have a continuation flight to Ethiopia. Dubai which is on the border of saudi arabia and oman in the country of the United Arab Emirates has very nice people very nice malls and souks. The only thing thats bad is the heat and humidity unless ur are going winter - spring. They also have a very large ski dome in the mall of emirates which is very nice. It is just like america except honestly much nicer. In the mall of emirates they have all designer places such as Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein,Verce,Gucci,Dolce and Gabbana, etc. Their are extremely nice sights to see. When you go to ethiopia I would recommed going to Addis Ababa but visting Nazareth and Gondor also. In Nazareth and Gondor and Tigray. In Addis make sure to go to Dembel City Center, Edna Mall, Ethiopian Meuseum, Hilton, Sheraton, Churches such as the huge Medhane Alum and Georgies. In Nazareth, Gondor, and Tigray you can see many historical place such as the oblesiks dating back to BC times and the first church in Ethiopia and many others. Be sure to try ethiopias cultural food at a place call Yod Abbysinia Traditional Ethiopian Food. They have an all you can eat traditional ethiopian food. With live performances of songs sung in all type of ethiopias languages and with them that ethnic groups traditional dance. Some facts about ethiopia is coffee is from their, many people originate from their, only country not to be made slaves, and their are 84 different languages with the main one being Amaharic. It would have been a perfect answer if you'd mentioned that Ethiopian Airlines flies direct from DC to Addis Ababa. It's one of the best airlines.
