Going to Europe to visit family... whats agood place to party???

Question

I have been to Italy 5 times in the past, and am going again this summer with the family.

We stay there for about a month, so this year I think I am going to take my own side trip ( I am 17 ) to somewhere else in Europe to have some fun. It would be a lot more fun if I was traveling with my friends backpacking, etc.

But instead - what would be a fun place to go with a lot of young people both Americans AND LOCALS!

I've heard about Amsterdam & Spain.. but what's a specific spot someone could recommend??

Catch the ferry from Brindisi in Italy to Greece and go island hopping

If you visit Amsterdam I highly recommend a place called Escape, it is in the Rembrant district I believe. That's my favorite square because there are a ton of bars and clubs.

Watch out for the S & M bars in Amsterdam, I accidently walked into a few of those.

As far as Spain - ahem. That's a whole country. What city will you be in in Spain?

You can also hop on the train and go to other cities in Holland. There is a city about 20 minutes away, well town, called Zaadam. Much cheaper alchohol there and a ton of people your age.
