  1. Yes, if you are a US citizen flying to the Bahamas. Maybe you need one if you are cruising to the Bahamas. Some of the cruise lines are requiring passports. Call the cruise line you want to cruise with and find out their requirements.

    Best to apply for one, it's very easy. Here is a website where you can download the forms. You will have to apply in person the first time.
