  1. If you're doing it completely by train, go to Doukissis Plakentias and get on the blue line (you may not even have to change trains depending on the service) and get off at Syntagma Station getting onto the red line heading towards Ayios Antonios.  Get off at Stathmos Larisis (Larisa station) and it is at from that station that the cross country trains (OSE) leave.  If you're in a rush, take the Intercity train which is faster...will cost you a few more bucks but will cut your travel time.

    Happy travels!

  2. no idea, but really your so lucky to get to be going to greece. hope you find your info, try google maps! (:

    have a good time! (:

  3. go to the metro station at the airport.take then the blue line to Syntagma station. From Syntagma change to the red line to Larissa Station. The train station is very very close to this stop.

  4. Two ways:

    Metro:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athens_Metr...

The metro in Athens is new, modern and efficient.

    Taxi:

Taxis are faster, but more expensive.

If you are traveling alone, it will be alot cheaper to go by metro. If you are in a group and can share costs, use taxi.

But why go by train to Thessaloniki? It will be much faster and easier to fly. Agean Air is a good airline and not very expensive.
