Going to High School?

Question

Does anyone think school is delving to deep into our personal lives? I thought school was just a place to make friends and get an education. My position is that if schools start giving out condoms or any other personal issue kind of is delving too deep into our personal lives. It's like school has evolved into it's own society. What's your take? Agree or Disagree? Why?

yeah, schools really should only be what you said--a place for education and to make friends. otherwise...WAY too personal and deep.

that might be another issue

but if kids are going to have s*x, and they are not talking about it with their parents and they don't have a job but they want to have safe s*x, then school would be a place for them to get a condom.

obviously if they don't have a job then maybe they shouldn't have s*x, but I'm not the one to judge.

i don't think they should have a bowl on a counter, but i think it should be there for those who wish to have them.  then maybe the nurse could talk to the teen about s*x.

Yes, school is simply a place to get an education; however, with the amount of students having (unprotected) s*x these days, isn't it better for high schools to give out condoms than for students to become pregnant or become fathers and drop out of high school?
