  1. Michael's answer is correct.

  2. well, I don't know much about the prize, but I advise you to contact with saigonhotpot- a group of students who volunteers to take the tourists esp the foreigners to a city tour without any charges - to find more details. I'm sure they will be willing to give you the best ideas of good accomodation with a reasonable prize. Have a safe and sound trip! :)

Ah, you can find saigonhotpt on google, or email to sghotpot@yahoo.com (but I'm not sure about the email address)

  3. These are Liberty 3 (3-stared) with USD53++/r/n - Elios (3-stared) with USD44/r/n as announced on the websites. But you may get a more preferable rate if you con tact with www.365travelofasia.com (or email them at "info@365travelofasia.com). Wish you both have a rememberable honeymoon together.

  4. Pham Ngu Lao is correct, not Pham Ngu Lau.

I think, you should choose Vien Dong Hotel. It is a 3 stars hotel. Price: about 30-60USD.

  5. A great 2 star Hotel called the............... MIA

  6. right on the corner of pham ngulau on de tham street is the "dong phuong"[ oriental] hotel..clean safe under $20us... if you want somthing a little more up scale right near the same corner on pham ngu lau is an even nicer place [ dont knoe the name.. if you want to go cheaper walk around back into the alley [ yes its pleanty safe] the are a number of places as you get close to bui vien street.. there are places all over that imediet area.. not too far off isthe metropolitan.. i once got a suite there for under $50.. and they have a swimming pool..if your into a"bacteria dip" ..lol !

  7. If you're going to HCMC in January'08, I would suggest that you book your flight tickets early, because it's near the Vietnamese Tet festive season and many overseas Vietnamese are coming home.
