why travail one of Ireland's best horse racing tracks is in the curragh co. kildare in fact it is the heart of Irish racing

Why not go to the curragh this weekend, its the irish derby. Wish i was there?

When are you going. If you are going to be in Ireland during Galway race week then that's THE place to go. The whole city is in race week mode and the nightlife after the races is great.

I believe it is the first week in August, but double check that.

roughly from strokestown about 2 and a half hours to 3 hours by car. add another hour from galway.
