  1. Hi , im from Milan.Sorry in anticipate if my english is not perfect.

From the 4 to the 7 of August normaly Milan is calm. The problem is that some shop are may be closed becouse of that.In Milan (city of fascion)you can shop and bay good name close but are expensive. The leather stuff is quai good. You can bay good leather shouse, bags, ecc. in "scarpe e scarpe". When you go to Milan you can see what we call "Il cenacolo"by Leonardo Davinci.  In "Piazza Santa Maria delle Grazie, 2 "

You can go and see the "castello sforzasco" one of the more important monument in Milan, there is also a museum inside.Don't miss a nice drink and walk at the pubs near the "naviglio" The naviglio is the canal that come from ouside milan to the "darsena" (big moring area) In the evening is full of live and pubs where you can drink a bear or have a very nice ice cream.

The Cattedral "Duomo" is very nice to see very important part of the city.If you want to go to Verona the best way is the train. There is a train every hour and is cheep from the "Stazione centrale".

From Milan you can go to Como from "ferrovie nord" in "piazza cadorna",it is a very romantic lake where you can have a nice walk on the promanade of the lake and is only an hour with the train.

If there is anithyng else that you may want to know.Let me know.

  2. I lived in Milan for a bit...do not miss the Duomo, there is a subway stop for it.  you'll be surprised where the Last Supper painting is....I was.  Take a day trip to Venizia, well worth it.  Also a short trip to Lago De Cuemo, go to the top of mountain on trolley car.  Watch your personal items VERY closely.  Several times I felt someone trying to unzip my back-pack.  They will distract you. Copy your passport several times, and put in various spots.  Enjoy....absolutely gorgeous.  The flight is inedible as well, over the Alps, if your flying into Mt. Pensa Airport.  Most of Italy is quit at that time, most locals vaca in Aug....GL

  3. I live near milan... from August 4-7 there aren't lot of people because they're all on holiday...the weather is really hot (40°C)...don't miss the duomo...
