Going to Japan for the summer?

I'm considering going to Japan for the summer. Will I go to school for part of the summer? Or will I be with my host family the entire time?

japan have a short break for summer, which is from 21st of july until the end of august.

But as the above person said, have you even arranged with a company yet  to do these things? because its vary rare that they would let you just stay with a host family unless you are studying. so if you were going for a while, I guess you might be there for part of vacation and part of semester. In which case it depends on your company as to if you stay with your host family during the summer vacation there or if they send you home.

but being a little more clear with your question might help ..

Why would you go to school on your summer vacation?

And, have you arranged your stay with a host family, or are you assuming that everyone who goes to Japan stays with a Japanese family instead of a hotel?

Then, have you made arrangements with a summer school, so they accept you when you get there?

Or, are you also assuming that everyone who goes to Japan must go to school?
