Ok, i'm going to London with my friend in September and we're both 17 so we don't have much money. Does anybody know where i could find cheap tickets for either coach or train that goes to London and returns the next day?

I'm not very good with this stuff and anything may help!!!

Thank you :)

  2. It depends on where you are travelling from but try these links for fares:

    NATIONAL EXPRESS COACHES

    http://www.nationalexpress.com/coach/ind...

    TRAINLINE

    http://www.thetrainline.com

    NEW BHARAT COACHES

    http://www.newbharat.co.uk/

The latter coach company Bharat are based in southall west london, but also run from Heathrow and go to a few places in the Midlands, its Indian run and cheap

  3. It would be helpful if you said where you are travelling from because obviously coach tickets are going to be cheaper from Birmingham then from Spain!

Megabus and National Express all have good deals if you are able to travel early in the morning or outside the hours most people like to travel.  If you can be flexible you can get a very good deal.

  4. Depends were you are travelling from.

Virgin trains run the train service up the west coast and to Glasgow, National Express run the trains up the East coast, I tihnk  Midland trains go to Birmingham. The good thing is that you can buy train tickets for any train service at a maned station, or online at a site like "thetrainline" - type into google uk train times and pick one of the first few entries. There you can get timetables, prices and book tickets. It is also worth checking the traincomapnies actual website - the national express one was £20 cheaper than the other ones for a trip Londo to York.

For coaches - about half the cost of a train but they take lots longer, try national express, or Megabus.
