Going to Longhorn?

Question

So, my fiance is taking me out to a restaurant called Longhorn tonight for our anniversary. I have never been there and I want to know what is good to get from there? He said it's a steak house so which steak should I get? I want something that is flavorful. I went to their website but I'm looking for other's opinions. Thanks for your help!

Well it depends on what you like. If you are a big steak fan, go with the longhorn porterhouse. If you want flavor the best in my opinion are the fillet, the salmon (if you don't mind going a steak house and ordering fish) and the pork chops. I recommend the wild west shrimp appetizer it is really good, and big enough for a meal.

The 7 oz. Flo's Filet is very good.  It's tender, not too spicy yet not too bland, and fills you right up.

Flo's Fillet, medium well, light on the prairie dust (too spicy for me)!  Yum, yum!  Get it with a baked sweet potato and steamed vegetables and you're all set!

Also, they have the BEST KEY LIME PIE anywhere. (It used to be Outback because theirs had pecans ground up in the crust, but they took it off of the menu "down under".)

When I went I got a Burger because I knew it would be real fresh..The burger I got was huge I don't remember the name But I remember it had some type of BBQ sauce on it and it was so Gooooood...

Longhord is good, more or less the same as Outback just not as good.

You shoudn't dissappointed. Their filets are good.

The NY Strip is usually good, actually most of  their food is good.
