Going to Maidstone Town Centre Saturday for drinks and eats?

with my other half. What are the best places to eat, money is not really an object, though I don't think he'd be happy coughing up a weeks wages for a meal!!

Also best pubs for couples, no abuse please.

Depends what sort of thing you are after... how about a River Cruise, which ends at a pub called The Malta Inn, nice food there.  Then you can get the boat back.

Opposite the Hazlitt theatre there are also some nice restaurants, I cant remember the names, but i recall there is a nice Mexican there.
