We are both early 30's (don't wanna hang out with teeny boppers... or old fogies for that matter! ha ha). Thanks for your help! :)

  1. Whenever I go to Melbourne I head to Jim's Greek Tavern in Johnston Street, Collingwood. Fantastic authentic Greek food, incredible atmosphere, Not flash or pretentious, but I guarantee you'll love it. Found some reviews at http://www.mdg.com.au/cgi-bin/mdgrview?n...

I notice that some reviewers said it was expensive - we've always found it to be good value, but you perhaps should ask how much as you order just in case.

  2. if u want chinese eat at the tea house at china town.

  3. Plenty of great eating places & bars in Richmond. Bridge Road & Swan Street are open till late.

Get to Swan Street on the Wattle Park (#70) tram from Flinders Street or Bridge Road on any of the 2 other trams (#48 or #75) that also leave from Flinders Street. Bridge Road probably has more choices for good food.

  4. For food, there is this great little indian restaurant (if u like that type of thing) in Bank Street, a little lane off Collins street.

  5. melbourne  and the docklands have great food.some very expensive . china town ,heaps to choose from. if you want something to do head to the dandenong ranges. grants park ,birds feed out of your hands. belgrave ,puffing billy  train ride through rain forest [rug up] coonarra springs restaurant great food and gardens .views of the warburton ranges.yarra valley has heaps of wineries worth giving a taste or the mornington peninsula has wineries also worth a go as is the beauty of the peninsula itself,
