I'm a Canadian citizen travelling to Thailand in August. I want to go to Rangoon, Myanmar from Bangkok and spend about a day there. How do I get a visa?

  1. the visas are available on the spot of ur landing in the country... and canadians are most welcome there.. and ya dont forget to spend good money buying the handicrafts.. they are awesome..

u have to fill up that messy immigration form at ur arrival.. moreover u can assitance from bangkok..

  2. A visa is required for Canadian passport holders to enter Myanmar. However, visas may be issued on arrival at the immigration officer's descretion, but I suggest you apply for a visa before hand. There is a compulsary currency exchange in place in Myanmar, whereby all tourists are required to exchange the equivalent of USD 200 and may re-exchange up to USD 300 upon departure.

  3. go to this page and read on VOA(visa on arrival)
