  1. On the high end: Per Se, Jean-Georges, Daniel....all fantastic french style restaurants.  Very expensive.  Dinner will set you back btw 400 and 800 for 2.

Little less high end:  Babbo/Del Posto.  Star Chef Mario Batali's best two restaurants.  Babbo is very hard to secure a reservation *must call 1 month in advance to the calendar day and chances are you'll end up with a 10:30 rez anyway*  Del Posto has a similar menu to Babbo, but is easier to gain entry.

Reasonable but cool:  Some of the hottest restaurants right now are David Chang's Momofuku restaurants (Ssam Bar, Noodle Bar, Ko)  It's Korean style, and heavily meat based.)

  2. Jeckell and Hydes. Dinner, great atmosphere.

Zabar's, Lunch, the world's best sandwich

Noodles in chinatown for breakfast. my 2 cents

    Cheers

  3. Carnigie Deli is awesome. Huge sandwiches

There is a breakfast place right across the street from Carnagie Deli. BenAsh or something like that. Very good.

The breakfast place attached to the Wellington we resonable and good as well.

  4. dave and busters, BBQ's and bubba gump

  5. Sushi Metsyuan, & Hapisghah!

  6. Best dinner -- Gramercy Tavern -- expensive but not super expensive.

  7. Hi, the best Deli is Katz's (lunch)

The best breakfast is François Payard, the best nice dinner (priced): Le Bernardin, L'Atelier at Four Seasons, Per Se, Craft, Gramercy Tavern, Lombardi's, Peter Luger's Steack House in Brooklyn.

    Have a fun trip !

  8. Breakfast: Olympic Flame on West 60th is good food, big portions and good service.

Dinner:  I'm partial to One if By Land, Two if By Sea.  A little lower down the scale is either of the Sushi Sambas.  Very high energy and awesome desserts.  Great for brunch on Sunday morning.

ETA:  I can't believe I forgot Fairway Market.  Really good for brunch, if you don't mind having to hunt for the way up ;)

  9. The best breakfast place is on the Upper West Side - it's called Good Enough to Eat.  You feel that you're in the Vermont countryside.  The butter has strawberries whipped into it.  It's out of this world.

There are so many nice dinner places.  It depends on your taste.  I really like Buddakhan (spelling might be wrong) because it's just a really great looking space.

You can also go to Park Avenue Summer (they change their look and menu each season).

There are also some typical New York classics like Le Bernardin if you like fish - but it's very expensive!

For an unbelievable sushi experience there is Nobu.

And of course there are Sparks, Peter Lugers and Smith & Wollenski's for steak.

    Have fun!

  10. For a good wholesome dinner with reasonable NYC prices check out Villa Mosconi in Greenwich Village

  11. Dave and Buster's in Manhattan, also try cherry valley sandwich shops if you can find a nearby one.

  12. If your a sports fan i would go to ESPNZone it is one cool place to go to. I've been there before and it is one fun experience.
