Don't want to spend too much, it looks like 18-27 holes a day. Looking for cheap deals.

  1. I go there at least every year once a year on golf vacations.  Get in touch with "Litchfeild Villiages" and see what kind of deal they can make.  By name here are a few "good deals with what I can remeber as prices:   (It depends on what time of year your going too)

    1.  Traditions:  about 40, great course

    2.  Will brook:  40ish, voted best womans course, great layout.

    3.  Sea gull: 30ish, under renovation last time I went.

    4.  Pawleys plantation:  40-50ish, really nice, the staff sucked, its a Jack design.

    5.  Caledonia Golf /fish club:  70ish, by far the best course I have played in Myrtle, its worth the extra.

Here is another idea for golf fun.  They have a lighted par three course there, I think about 20 to play 18.  We played 18-27 in the day time, then rest, eat, drink and grab a case of beer and head to this par 3 course.  It was great fun, we teamed up and played best ball and got silly.  There was hardly anyone there.  The course was great for the money, and h**l you got to play at night.  Funny thin was we played it every night and tracked our par threes on the big boy courses and we all did pretty good over the next couple days, so it was good for our games too.

any way have fun, If you like sea food try Drunkin Jacks on Murrell inlet, its great.  Also for golf shopping and deals, you need to hit Martins Golf and tennis, great deals.

  2. It is pretty much peak of the season down there so nothing is going to be real cheap.  Also pretty busy so I wouldn't risk just showing up (unless you will play as a single) as you might not get out.  Don't remember the price but "The Witch" was a great course we played there.

  3. This is the peak season in myrtle beach...nothing is cheap. Try Farmstead, Crow Creek, Meadowlands in the NMB area and Shaftsbury Glen toward Conway. Reasonable prices for above ave courses.

  4. Glen Dornoch is great. As is Caldonia. Give them a shot.

  5. myrtle beach has 112 golf courses..there are discounts that the courses offer.i go down maybe 3 times a year to check on my rentals but due health i cant play anymore. nothing is really cheap at myrtle beach. even the hookers charge 15 percent more than last year..ha ha just a joke..back in 1975 and 1980 i bought 12 rentals. i rented 9 bye the month and 3 bye the week..3 hundered dollars was for a month and 2 a week.now i lease them to a company that pays me 1250 each per month..like i said if you dont have the money to spend, or to throw away..its cheaper to rent some snow skiss

  6. I know what im about to tell you is a heavy expense but they isnt a course in myrtle beach like Harbour Town GC. The course is pristine condition and just amazing. And you will have a story to tell all your buddies that you golfed on a PGA Tour Regular Course. I loved every minute of it and would def pay the money again to golf there.
