Going to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic in 2wk. How much is cab to & from airport on avg- hotel in Sosua?

Expedia is charging an extra $120 per person for ground transportation to/from airport in Pureto Plata (Puerto Plata International Gregorio Luperón Airport) and Casa Marina Beach and Reef. I am wondering the price for a taxi. I just find it hard to believe that a taxi could be more.

IT DOESNT MATTER HOW MANY PEOPLE YOUR  TRAVELING WITH, THE FARE WILL BE THE SAME. .. FOR 1 OR MORE PERSONS, DO NOT PAY MORE THAN 20 DOLLARS . I DONT CARE IF THIER DRIVING THE NICE  MINIVANS WITH THIER PRESSED YELLOW SHIRTS OR DRIVING YOUR GREAT  GREAT GRANPOPIS COROLLA WITH DICE ON THE DASHBOARD  . YOU WILL SEE THE SIGN OUTSIDE THE AIRPORT WITH FARES  CLEARLY LISTED TO ALL D.R DESTINATIONS. IF YOUR SLICK, YOU CAN GET THIS 15 MINUTE RIDE  FOR 15 BUCKS ,BUT ITS PROBABLY  NOT WORTH THE AGG  YOULL GO THROUGH JUST TO SAY YOU DID,YOU KNOW.  ALSO , IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT HOTEL YOUR GOING TO  IN SOSUA AS THEY ARE ALL RELATIVELY CLOSE TO EACH OTHER. IF YOUR A REAL CHEAPASS, OR TACANO AS THE DOMINICANS WILL CALL YOU, WALK 15 MINUTES UP TO THE MAIN ROAD WITH YOUR BAGS AND GET THE REAL D.R TAXIS FOR 1 DOLLAR.  TIPS ARE ALWAYS EXPECTED BUT NOT MANDATORY.  ALWAYS SETTLE YOUR PRICE WITH THESE  GUYS BEFORE THE RIDE OR YOU COULD REALLY BE TAKIN FOR ONE, YOU DIG ? AND NEVER EVER PAY UNTIL YOUVE REACHED YOUR DESTINATION . FOR THE RECORD, LET ME SAY THAT THOUGH THERE ARE ALOT OF MAFIOSOS  WORKING IN THIS FIELD AS IN EVERY COUNTRY AND EVERY LINE OF WORK, THE MAJORITY OF THESE DRIVERS AS WITH ALL DOMINICANS  ARE AMONG THE MOST FRIENDLY , GOOD, HARDWORKING  PEOPLE YOULL  EVER MEET AND WOULD NEVER STEAL A PESO FROM YOU.

$20-$25 is standard cab fare from POP to Sosua. If a driver tells you more, find another car. Agree on the price BEORE you get in the car. If you really want cheap, go out to the main road at the airport and get on a bus for $6. Buses come by every 1/2 hour or so.
