Going to Puerto Vallarta March 27th-April 4. Will college crowd be mostly done by then?

Are there some recommended hotels / locations in Puerto Vallarta that do not allow or do not attract the college crowd?

Answer is simple my friend, college crowds are not attracted to 5* or higher level hotels.

They just can afford a 200USD night lodge p/p.

Now you know what sort of hotels you should look for.

I was there in August and there was a college crowd - they are there all year round.  Ha, but most of them stayed in the clubs all night and I didn't see them.

Spring Break starts the 15th as well as Semana Santa so the beachs will be busy thru the end of the month

I would have to disagree slightly. By 3/27 the Easter week will be over and college kids of USA and CAN will be headed home leaving some stragglers. If you choose a place in South Side, just south of Rio Cuale, Playa Los Muertos, your clientele around will not be any rowdy college kids. They tend to stay up along the highway north of the malecon, which is the epicenter of youg night life! You best secure a place ASAP. You are late for the good bargains so sign up for a nice place, even a condo, and get your air tix.

college crowd should be done by then

i think the last of spring break is march 15th or so and if not the 27th

Tropicana on los muertos beach should not attract them

Buganvillias Sheraton would be a choice as well
