My husband wants to go fishing but we don't necessarily want to rent a boat. Are there any fishing piers or docks in PV and places to rent fishing equipment?

Thanks

  1. We sailed in from Acapulco and the only fish we caught were where we rounded the point just at the entrance to "Banderas Bay P.V . We caught two tuna and a whopper of a "Dorado" or  "MAHI-MAHI  I  think they are called in the U,S,A,

There are charters and you wont find them, they will find you.

Maybe someone else can be more specific but you will have no trouble.  6 hour excursion should not cost you more that $300.00usd  They go for $200--$300.00 here in Aca

I hope this changes your mind.

There is a place near the Marina by the airport by the Pemex

fuel station at the docks that may.  I know they sell used rods

There is only one in Acapulco that sells sticks that have line wrapped around them.

I always say "If there is a buck to be made a Mexican will be there to make it."

You might run into someone at your hotel and arrange to go out  on a charter. The price is not based per head. Probably limited to 8 people depending on its size.

$40-to $50 a person and its quite often they bring in two sailfish (pez vela) 30 kilos
