Going to Punta Cana DR with a bunch of single guys early 20s. Whats the nightlife and "hookup" opportunity?

Anyone been and experienced it? How is the nightlife and guy/girl ratio to hookup and have one nights stands or fun? If this is too inappropriate for this site please direct me to some sites or forums where its not. THANKS

You will find your "hookup" in the disco's and bars outside the resorts. Enjoy it but be cautious with to much drinking or to much...

I went there last year, and stayed in a resort. It was fun. there was a night club connected to other resorts, to meet people. and there are always drunk people. never a bad time.

Your chances of "hooking up" are good if you are willing to pay between $30 - $50 for a "taxi" in the morning (plus of course whatever the taxi will cost).  Sosua or Boca Chica are better places to "hook up" though.

If you are in one of those tourist prison/all-inclusives, chances are low except with other drunk tourists.

Punta cana is the wrong place for "hookup: You should be going to Sosua, Caberette, or Boca Chica for that. Punta Cana is a tourists only development area. It tends to be an older crowd.
