Going to Riviera Maya in July..........?

I was wondering if it was better to visit Xel-Ha or X-caret ? Are they pretty much the same?

Xel-ha is more of an Aquatic Theme Park while Xcaret is more of a Interactive Historical Park with lots of cool shows. The rest depends on what you prefer.

I've been to Xel-Ha, not X-caret.  Xel-Ha was great.  Great snorkelling, cool lazy river, lots of water type activities, but also hiking, bike riding, shops, eateries.  Highly recommend it.

X-caret is supposed to be great also.  However, much bigger than Xel-Ha, and would be best to stay into the evening for the night show.  ( I have problems with too much walking, so I haven't gotten there.)  If you can, though, try to get in both OR visit the Maya again one day.  My favorite vacation destination.  Just got back the end of May.
