I am going on a family vacation this September to Shenandoah National Park. It's on the top of a mountain, so it's pretty cold there. I have been going there every year sense 4 months old, but this year, I have to pack for an extra day and it's going to be less people this year. What should I pack for when I'm up there and also what should I bring for the 4 hour drive there? I usually pack extra clothes too, but how much? I think we might eat dinner somewhere nice one night, but my family doesn't really tell me what we're doing there. There is no TV, radio, computers or internet connection, so we usually have to make up some fun stuff to do. Anyone have ideas of what to pack and everything like that??? Thanks so much!

  1. I don't see a problem here. Just pack an extra days worth of clothes. Take a camera because the deer should be out that part of the year.

Not knowing your age, take books to read for the car drive. take comfortable shoes, there are many trails to hike, many ranger lead.

    Enjoy.
