Visit the Nylon pool and Bucco reef. It's beautiful! Crime like anywhere else is an issue but not so much on Tobago(more so on Trinidad).

We went to Tobago some years ago.  I wasnt overly impressed to be honest.  We hired a little jeep thing and went down to the little village at the tip of the island - there wasnt much there frankly.  Stopped in a roadside restaurant that was supposed to be famous - and it was okay but nothing special.  Went to a nice nature reserve but again - nothing special.  There were a few restaurants but not much else really.  We were staying in a villa with a pool that had access on to a private beach for that area - and it was okay.  Hot without being unbearable.  But I wouldnt choose to go again to be honest.

Tobago is amazing, friendly locals, nice beaches, you will enjoy it I have been three times and hope to go again this year. Hope that website helps..
