2. CN Tower, video cameras allowed? How long is the elevator ride?

3. Security for the Blue Jay's stadium, what is not allowed?

4. We are driving from Boston, any tips for going through customs?

  1. i went from massachusstes to toronto and the cn tower and the rogers centre and all that stuff a couple of years ago and you have nothing to worry about. just dont be rediculous. They will stop you and ask why and where your trip to canada is going to be, take a picture of your car, and let you go. just imagine you were coming into the US

  2. To answer 4, you do not go through customs.  You will need government ID (driver's license) and proof of citizenship (birth certificate).

    1.  Yes:

    2.  Electronic devices are not allowed

    3.  Restricted items, including, without limitation, alcohol, illegal drugs, chemicals, bottles, cans, weapons of any kind, large bags, knapsacks or hard-sided coolers or briefcases (list of restricted items subject to change at any time in the discretion of the Management). Each person wishing to enter the stadium consents to Management's reasonable examination of his or her person and/or belongings to ensure compliance with the foregoing.

  3. Hockey Hall of Fame - Yes Video Cam aloud.

CN Tower / very expensive, and YES Video Cameras aloud but no food. The ride up is like 1 min. Really fast.

Blu Jays game... No idea never been but im sure if you google it , you can find out more info.

Id also check out The EX! Its a massive festival / fair / carnival thing. Its on for two weekd right before school starts. And its on now untill Sept 5th, 2008. You will have more fun there then Jays Game. They also have a web site.

Theres also Ontario Place. Tons to do there. But becareful you dont get ripped off by to many food vendors, ect!

Have fun. Im 20mins from Toronto.

  4. bring your birth certificate, and a drivers licens or ID

  5. video camras are allowed, in both the cn tower and the hockey hall of fame(which is very cool) and the CN tower, but I don't think u could for the roger center(the blue jay stadium) usa and canada's costoms are about the same so you have nothing to worry about, it's just like going  to a vacation. have fun =P

  6. Crossing the border into Canada: You will need to present government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license as proof of identity, along with proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate or naturalization certificate, or a passport. Children age 18 and under will be able to enter with proof of citizenship. Verbal claims of citizenship and identity alone will not be sufficient to establish identity and citizenship for entry into the United States.

Note: Children age 18 and under will need to present a birth certificate, naturalization certificate or a passport to enter the U.S.

Americans in particular will need to be aware that Canada has strict gun laws. Generally, all weapons without legitimate sporting or recreational use are prohibited, and guns used for hunting or competition may be brought in with a permit. (Contact below). Undeclared firearms will be confiscated, and criminal charges may be made.

For more information about going into Canada, phone the border-crossing post directly. For answers to Canadian customs enquiries, or to locate the nearest Canadian customs district office, call the following telephone numbers: From within Canada, call: (toll-free) 1-800 461-9999. From outside Canada, call: 204-983-3500; or, 506-636-5064 (long-distance charges apply).
