  1. Ok Bars to visit, they're all in the one lil square so try Kazbaa, 3 floors often a band on one of the floors. Tue night Revolution have a comedy night. Also the wacky apple and Masons are good bars! For a night club try muldoons. Place could be quiet at this time of year mid week as students prob wont be back to college yet!!

Try the lime leaf for lovely thai food and just across for that is a nice Italian called L'atmosphere both pretty reasonable. If you like seafood and can drive out of the city McAlpines is well worth a visit.

Touristy things in the city, theres plenty museums etc. If you're driving and the weather is nice go to Woodstown beach out by Passage East its lovely. If you go early in the morning you mite catch them exercising the race horses, fab!!  Tramore is a nice coastal town too with amusements and arcades. Beach wouldnt be my fav if you plan on lying on the beach sunning urself, can be very busy and noisey!!

Hopefully that should cover it, enjoy :) If you need anything else give me a shout!!

  2. Night life hots up more during the weekend in Waterford. But you might be lucky on Thursday night, if you're there then.

Tramore has a great beach, and you could go along the coast past Dungarvan to Ring, also with great beaches. I'd also recommend taking a drive through the Comeragh mountains, the Mahon Falls are very pretty.

  3. Some bars have been mentioned, But also try Geoff's, and my favourite is Harvey's, check out the smoking place even if you don't smoke, spent well over a million euros doing it up, I live in  Tramore and love it, someone said the beach is too noisy, but it is 3 miles long so there is plenty of space for everyone, surfing, horse riding golf, dog racing horse racing, all in Tramore as well, Yes Waterford Crystal is well worth the tour, the museum, take a trip down the river, Waterford castle, Woodstown beach is a lovely walk, but there is nothing else there, just a beach. good luck and enjoy your stay.
