La Piazza is spacious Italian restaurant, close to the York Minster and most of the city centre's major shops and stores.

You could easily dine for two people between £40-£50, depending on what you both decide to eat and drink.

I love York and have spent some nice weekends away there, but me and my partner always find our way back to this restaurant.

Try 'ASK'  i cant remember the address but its in the grand assembly room.  it looks very posh and sophisticated but its very reasonable and the food is outstanding, mainly italian.
