  1. Maybe you should ask a teacher or a student who has been there a while and knows wat they are doing

  2. wow thats gud now ur in high school n dont worry u wont get lost so best of luck!!!!!!!!

  3. oh wow cool. im going to a big school too, and im new also. but i know my way already. :) so you need to go to the guidance office. dont you have your timetable where your home room and all the other courses are listed? that should help you. if you're still lost. ask the other students. goooodluckkkk. ;)

  4. don't get over exited normally the school is divided into wings and with my school you got a shcedual and cuz of how the rooms work say you have math on the third floor of the a wing it would be marked a310 if it was the tenth room...after about a week or so you'll know your school like the back of your left hand...anyway just hope that you get a schedule which you should and on it writ down your home room...if you need help ask an older person who seems nice like a senior or ask the office...

  5. See if they will let you go on a day before you start school and walk around to kind of get an idea of th layout. See if they have a map, I'm sure they do, of the school. When you get the map and your schedule go somewhere where you can highlight your classes and write 1, 2, 3 etc. for your classes. Maybe you can see if the student center could put you with another student that is familiar with the school to show you around.

  6. First of all, remember that tons of other people are in the same position as you... you're definitely not alone. While you're at the guidance office, ask for a school map so you can find your home room and other classes easily. Chances are, you probably already have your schedule, and if not, you'll get one that has room numbers on it so that you can find your classes. If you do get lost, walk up to someone who looks friendly and ask, "Hey, do you know where this class is?" Also, on your very first day, look for some people who are in quite a few of your classes. Then on the next day, you can always follow them to some classes if you're not sure where they are. If you feel awkward talking to a student, you could always ask a teacher where a certain class is located; they'll be able to help you for sure. If it's at all possible, arrange a visit to your high school ahead of time so that you can find all of your classes without having to deal with crowded hallways and having to get to class on time.

Also, most high schools offer a Grade 10 orientation day where Grade 11's and 12's show you around the school and help you find some of your classes. Since your high school is so big, I'm guessing there will probably be that type of an orientation on the day before you go back to school. I don't know if your school goes from Grade 9-12 or 10-12, but either way, you could go to the orientation. Check your school website or phone your school for more information.

Last but not least, make sure to make some friends/meet nice people on the first day. Once you do, I'm sure they'll be more than happy to show you to your classes. Don't worry about getting lost... most teachers will find it very understandable if you're  a couple minutes late for class on your first day. Just relax, take a deep breath and smile. I know you'll do great :)
