Going to a cosmetology school,can i get a good well paying career form it

ok i really would like to go to cosmetology school but my dad things its not going to be good...like i wont get a good career form it...can i?

when i got out of beauty school I made minium wage, I switched to barbering and do very well. The adjoining  beauty shop to the barber shop I work at is struggling,,,the beautians only make minium wage there also.

with a whole lot of creativity, extraordinary skill and a bunch of good luck. Otherwise you won't even make a living.

You can make a decent career out of anything you love to do and feel passionately about.  Cosmetology is a skilled profession that there will always be a demand for...people need to get their hair cut!  Depending on where you decide to live (ex. large city as opposed to a small town), your income will vary.  If you can get yourself into a very reputable school and eventually into a high-end salon, you can make plenty.  Will you make millions?  Probably not (unless you become a celebrity stylist), but you will be able to make a living.  Go for it!  It beats doing something you hate for the rest of your life!
