Going to a new High school as a sophmore...advice?

Ok so I used to go to a small Christian school. I went there in 3rd grade and last year I was a freshman there too. There were only 4 kids in my class...ya really small. Well this year im going to go to the local High school and one of my best freinds will be a freshman there. Im nervous about it. Im getting my hair cut soon and new clothes(we had to where school shirts at my old school) im excited about that but im nervous about being made fun of. Im a big girl and im working on loseing weight but its kinda hard because I have a hormonal inbalance and my Grandpa died recently and we have been busy with that and its really hard to eat right when your out of town and on the go 24/7. So I need advice on what and what not to do. The school is open like two days before school starts so we can go in and find your classes. Im just worried. Advice?

Join a club or a sport. You will be able to meet people with similar interests and make friends. A sport would also help you get more active and help you trim down. Eating alone at lunch is the hardest. If you don't make any friends to sit with, take a book along and read it while you eat. It will look like you don't care that you are alone...

just relax i'm goiing into my sophmore year too and if u read questions u'd see i have alot more worrying in my hands..but u'll be fine i went to private skool all my life and started publick goin to 6th i was terrified but fit rite in!

The two days before school go in and find all your class together and your locker (if you know that yet) and start putting some decorations in your locker. Make sure you know where her locker is so you can find each other on the first day of school! it's really not all that bad..
