My boyfriend doesn't want me to go. He'll say I can do whatever i want and he cant stop me but then he'll say after that, that he just doesn't want me to go.

hes out of town so he cant go with me and I told him that Ill be with 5 of my closest friends who he knows and we're all staying together.

but he still gets upset over it.

I dont know what to do. cause if i go hes not gonna like it and I'll probably get a lot of c**p about it the next day

what should i do?

  1. you should go.

cause its your friends birthday and you may knew you friend longer than your bf.

but your BF have a point to.

but you can do whatever you want.

if you want to go,just check in with your BF couple of times making sure that he doesnt have second thoughts and making sure your ok.

    if this doesnt help

    sorry

  2. You should let others to dictate your life even thou when you are married.

Being married doesnt mean that you are going to ditch your own life for some else's/

  3. That poster who said nothing good happens at raves has NO idea what he's talking about. You don't need to use drugs at modern raves. In fact, most raves don't permit them. People who truly appreciate EDM don't need it to appreciate this music. Most raves are police superivised. Some have police at the door checking people. Overall, it's is far safer than any other type of dance. They are also very exclusive. Only select people can enter, only select people know about them. Dances where people don't know almost everyone attending cannot really be called a real rave. Almost everyone at a rave is friendly from the entrance line to the dancefloor. You will not find a more welcoming crowd anywhere else. Statistics show that going to any other type of dance, results in far greater numbers of fatalities and hospital admissions. People who are still scared to bowel movement over raves these days are completely EDM illiterate. Shame of them for throwing excrement on our rave culture.

You have the right to do as you wish. If you don't want to go, then skip it. If you want to go, then fine. What's the big deal? You don't come out of a rave a changed person in any way except for the potentially changed musical tastes. It's not some kind of traumatic experience. So do whatever you want to do.

  4. Nothing good happens at raves.  Saying that you'll do anything for your friends birthday is no excuse and kind of stupid.  If you can't understand your boyfriends concern then you're probably either self centered or a little immature.  Sorry if this is harsh, but unless you and your boyfriend are into drugs this is way out of bounds.

  5. do whatever you want. you're not married, it's not like you're commited to him, if i told a girlfriend that, she'd think i was too soft.
