i work out about 2-3 times a day.

i want to lose weight, thats my goal, but i want to take a break every once in a while, so its okay if i just stay the same weight for a while.

but if i go to an italian restaurant late at night with the family, which spaghetti is the HEALTHIEST choice?

healthiest, as in; doesnt slow me down on my work outs, low in calories, fat, etc.

it doesnt have to be exactly healthy! i just want it to be like the one of the healthiest and yummy too :)

  1. eat small amounts of food then your stomache will sirink and you will only be able to eat small porshions

  2. I would go with Linguine con le Vongole - ie. pasta with clams in a white (wine)  sauce. Yummy!

  3. go with a Whole Wheat pasta and a meat sauce.  Ask what sauce has chunks of veggies, that will do too with a salad and light on dressing.

  4. i would get chicken parm.  yes, its breaded, but its not fried.  yes its cheese, but its not a crapload of cheese.  and its red sauce, which is better for you than a white/cream sauce.  you may want to ask if they can serve you a whole wheat pasta.  you wont be able to tell the difference.

  5. get a lunch portion or half portion. wheat pasta is healthier. skip the bread. get the dressing on the side and use only what you need. DON'T get chicken parm it IS fried and smothered in cheese! how about angel hair with oil and garlic tossed with veggies and topped with grilled chicken or shrimp.

  6. Fish

  7. Yes whole wheat pasta but with marinara sauce would be OK.  If you can, you might settle for soup (minestrone) and a dinner salad.

If you go with the chicken parmigiana, you can ask them if they can prepare it with non-breaded chicken and either loose the cheese or stick with mozzarella.
