  1. Just make sure you know your stuff. =) I'm assuming you do, since they dont just hire anyone at a golf course.

LOL you're gonna get a lot of old people that are slow players. And you're probably going to be asked a lot of advice...how should i hold my club....what iron do you suggest I use... things like that.

I'm also going to assume they're going to let you play for free. Take advantage of that. Play the course, that way, not only will you be knowledgeable about golf, but about the course as well. =)

Good luck and have fun!!! =) After all, it is just golf...lol =p

EDIT:: I got a thumbs down because....?

  2. You know you gat ta know wat yay dew!... cu if ya dunt... den u g*y man... u just g*y foo

  3. This site has a ton of information.  They are a school that helps people get ready for a career in golf.  click around a read some of their press releases and newsletters.

    Try: http://www.sdga.edu/why_golf.php

    or http://www.golfutures.com/

  4. im guessing you are going to be working maintenance so the main thing is that you are probably going to have to get up VERY VERY early.   basic rule is try to avoid making noise while anyone is hitting but of course you cant always stop while you are working.   They will teach you the rest

  5. First and foremost you will be working with the public .

You will have people who enjoy treating you like a peon for this simple fact. This is simply part of being a public servant (but more so at a higher-end course).  Do your best to ignore these particular idiots as hard as it may be. As far as learning, you will get a daily earful about shots, birdies, putts, pars, eagles, etc., etc. If you're attentive, you will pick up enough to conversate about golf. You may even develop a genuine interest and really know your stuff, over time. Don't be afraid to ask the players or the pro, as they will more than willing to share their knowledge of the game.

  6. where at a golf course? like as an attendant or something?

i'd make sure u read a golf book or something.

    lol

  7. Just know the course and where everything is because people will ask alot of questions.
