Is there any way I can go to military's (america) boot camp without actually joining the military?

  1. No you can not go through it,

    but some times some people are allowed to visit boot/basic camps to see what its like.or for educational purposes.


  2. It costs that government a lot of money to put a soldier through boot camp, they don't give the experience away.

  3. hmmm......no.  Unless you are a documentary film maker, and have the DoD give you a pass to attend the training, but that requires 2 to 3 years.  

  4. The US government is not going to waste money to train someone who isn't going to serve.

  8. No. A lot of people think that it's a cute little idea so they can workout and slim down...but if you're so lazy that you can't workout without a DI in your face, you'll only serve to get fat right after you leave anyway.

    The money spent on recruits is quite a lot, and if you get hurt, that costs the military even more money. The military isn't going to just give you money so you can play Marine/soldier/airman/sailor for a little while.

  10. Yea right!  We don't spend a $150,000 on a recruit just to earn their title in the military just to go back home after 3.5 month of h**l!

  12. Not an official boot camp, but on-line you can find non-military boot camps that are meant just for conditioning and endurance. As long as you are not a terrorist.

  13. No, you cannot go to Boot Camp Without joining the military. Boot camp is not free. It costs the goverment money for each recruit, and they want to make sure they get thier monies worth
