Going to cancun..cheap hotels..NEED HELLPPP!?

Question

Okay, so i'm going to Cancun sometime in August. Theres going to be 3 of us all adults and we want to stay at a low maintenance hotel or even motel because we aren't going to be in the room very much. We are actually just going basically for the night life and the beach. Money is low and we're just looking to spend money on night life and what not. Please helppp any hotels or websites or even first hand experience let me know!

I went to Cancun a few years ago and I was in a similar situation.  We just wanted a cheap place to sleep.  We stayed at Grand Royal Lagoon.  It's on the Lagoon side and to be honest the lagoon sounds a lot better than it really is.  The hotel was simple but clean.  It's pretty much across the street from a really fancy hotel.  To get the beach we just walked through the lobby of that hotel.  Other wise it's kind of hard to find public access.  The bus goes up and down the main road there so to get to downtown or anywhere, just find a bus stop going the direction you want and any bus will do.

Check it out, we ended up emailing to make a reservation from their website to save even more money.  We had no issues although I may stay in a little nicer place next time.

you can just stay in a hotel in downtown they are much cheaper that in the hotel zone (beach area)

The most u will pay in a hotel could be like 20 to 30 dl cuz money in Ameican is counted different in Mexico like 20 dl is 200 pesos so like its petty going to be cheap there. The soda are like 50 pesos with it 5 dL so I hope u like it. Just search for Cancun Mexico and it will give u some websties were u can go to fo reservations.
