Well I have a simple question. I'm turning 21 in October, and I want to kind of get the ball rolling in my life so I can hopefully get into school in 2009.

What I wanted to know is if its uncommon, or even possible to major in two different courses? I'm thinking of going to school to be a paramedic, but I would also like to take some kind of theater arts program, as id like to have a shot at the entertainment business. Its always been my dream to become an entertainer and make people laugh. Iv been told that I'm character and I'm great at cracking jokes (often at my own expense) and acting dumb to make other people laugh. I love the feeling of making others laugh and I think id be a great actor/entertainer.

However I realize how difficult it is to become successfully in that business so I want to take the paramedic coarse as a realistic career choice while I maybe try to land acting jobs on the side. Any advice? Tog et into either of these classes I would have to go back and do certain pre-req courses from high school as I didn't know what I wanted to be back then. I want to start paving the rest of the road to my life now. Thank you to thous who took the time to read this!

  1. I was much like you. By the time I was 25 I was a paramedic, massage therapist, nutritionist and lawyer.... needless to say I had NO time for anything else while I was in college. While all of these did end up comming in handy later in life, it really was not necessary. I recommend you do what you are going to do though and keep it at the 2 courses, its definately doable!
