Going to college in Athens, Greece?

I'm trying to decide on a college to go, and I was wondering if I should return to my roots and study in Athens. I know little Greek, but am learning. Would this be wise/possible for me to go to Greece instead of stay in America?

  1. Not really, no. Some really remarkable people have come out of Greek universities, but at the moment, the post-secondary education system is in shambles. Students have to deal with poor teaching standards, poorly-maintained facilities, low funding, and debilitating political protests. That's why so many Greek students are finding their way abroad for their studies these days.
