Going to college in Hawaii?

I want to go to college in Hawaii. I'm thinking UH Manoa, my major is psychology and I want to be a college professor. Is UH a good school for that and how hard is it to live and go to school in Hawaii because I know it's pretty expensive, but tuition doesn't seem that high I mean for the residents. Do you have any suggestions for me? Thanks!
