Going to cyprus, is it best to buy euro in Britain or wait and get it in cyprus/?

I have travelled the world with my country's currency in travellers' check and changed a few pesos into the country I was in at the airport. Then change as I go along. That way I never had "millions" to change back when I left.

But hey, take a credit card and get $ at the local ATM machines.

In europe definatly, cyprus rates are the lowest they have been for a while. I know this because my grandparents live there now.
