Hi Michelle,

Well we had two days of some rain last week that's it! So don't worry ! In 115 years only 3 hurricanes hit Puerto Plata so....

it's not a hurricane, it's a tropical storm. they do predict that it will grow to hurricane strength as it moves back over florida (good news for your holiday, not so much for those living in florida).

The storm more or less scraped the dominican, there were mostly just showers, but nothing too serious. showers are to be expected anyway this time of year but otherwise the weather is hot, sunny and humid.

It should be fine. It's sunny their right now and after a week it'll look as good as b4. Fay wasn't that strong to cause major damage.
