-Can i hop a taxi to his place?

-Can I change my currancy at the airport or should i do that in america?

-Are the people of glasgow friendly towards americans?

-how much spending money is suggested if I already have a place to stay?

any advice at all would be helpful! thanks!

  1. You can take taxi or hop on to a bus to the city center,

(Buchanan street ) and then take a taxi where you wish to

go. In that way it will cost you less.

Changing your money at Glasgow airport is possible, but I think you will get a better rate from a bank of your own city.

In general Scottish people are friendly to any outsiders.

Travel is bit expensive, food and drinks are not so. All

museums and most gardens are free. Lots of places to

visit and I am sure you will find places to satisfy your

interest. But the real beauty of Scotland is the Highland.

Specially the west coast and the islands and you need months to relish its true beauty and its people.

  2. Hi i am from Glasgow and i will say you would feel very welcomed in glasgow or glesga as we call it if you are getting a taxi to his place it could be pricey depending on where he lives it costs me around 25 pound to get a taxi from the airport to my home in govan you would be better changing your money at a travel agent where they don't take commission and as for places to go there is Kelvingrove Art Galleries the Transport museum and the famous Barras spending money would depend on how long you stay and what you want to do but you will love it here great people
