Going to ibiza in june allocation on arrival with thomas cook does anyone know the properties used for this?

i have the brochures i just want to know roughly what to let myself in for, has anyone been on a thomas cook A on A?

Thomas Cook usually state what properties they use on their superdealz holidays. If you really don't know then they reserve the right to allocate you anywhere at all in or out of their brochure.

However, having been in the trade for 26 years I know how these things work and they generally allocate accomodations where they have a big allocation of rooms to fill.

Usually a clue is when you look in the brochure and theres a sign next to the accomodaton name & description which says "exclusive to Thomas Cook in UK" remember they don't always allocate within the Thomas Cook Brochure, so look at their Sunset and JMC brands as well.

Off season, it's almost always their own properties, so the properties where they are exclusive will definitely be top of the list.

You don't say whether it's HB or SC or what rating they've guaranteed, but remember it's their own rating not the star rating that they go by. ie. If they say 3 Globes  that might be a 2 star that they give a 3 globe rating to or a 4 star that they give a 3 globe rating to, of course it might also be a 3 star that they rate as a 3 globe.

I do know that for example on a SC aoa, they use The Jet Bossa in Playa d'en Bossa quite a lot, also The Granada in Portinatx, The Miami in Es Cana is also popular with them.

Without the star rating and the board basis it's hard to say any more, but Thomas Cook are good and I'd say as long as you've booked at least a 3 star you should be ok.

When I used to book these holidays, I could generally tell exactly where a client would be staying if I paid attention. Usually when a room was booked on a superdeal, a room would come off a named accomodation, but you did have to know what to look for and theres no way the travel agent could tell now.

You have to understand though that really, it could in fact be anywhere at all.
