  1. the where you will go are very very nice and when you are here you should only have a walk to see lots of wonderful places....usually Italian like English or American people who try to speak Italian because they are very funny and the most of them speak English,Italian is very difficult but you could learn those word:

    grazie-thank you

    mi scusi-excuse me

    mi dispiace- sorry

buongiorno vorrei un caffe e una bottiglietta d'acqua-good morning ,can i have a coffee and a bottle of water

if you would like  to have more help contact me!!ciao!

(the last thing:the leaning tower is in Pisa where you won't go..)

  2. Sistine Chapel, the Vatican, the Coliseum, and some other places sorry i haven't been there in a while. But yeah once you get there. You can practically by a map and walk there. It's very beautiful. Italia... Country of wonders.. Have fun and lucky you!!!

  3. I've been all over Italy and last year was my fifth time.  Here's some ideas:

Rome: spanish steps! Very fun and great people watching.  The shops in that area are very expensive but get a gelato and sit on the steps and take rome in.  If anyone suggests the catacombs...waste of time in my opinion.  Piazza Navona!! My favorite piazza in rome.  It's a little expensive to eat there but if you can get a table right about the time the sun goes down, the color of the buildings in the sunset are amazing!

Florence: Be sure to go to the Duomo and climb to the top.  The view is amazing and Florence is the hub of Tuscany.  You can see forever!  The jewelry on the ponte vecchio is way overpiced and a tourist trap but it's good to see.  Buy one of the paintings from the local artists.  Have it framed when you get home to remind you of your trip.

Venice: Doge's Palace and the prison. Very interesting.

Verona: Juliette's balcony and the coloseum there.

All of Italy is adventure.  Take side streets. Walk, Walk, Walk.  The best places to eat are the ones of the beaten path.  Trattorias are the best (family owned). Most people speak English but they will love your efforts to speak Italian.  You will have such an amazing time!

  4. many of the people can understand english so be cool. my advice is, learn some words that may help you in transporting, i mean, have a look at the bus/subway stations names, get used to them, especially in rome and milan! and make sure you ALWAYS do have the schedules (we missed the bus and waited till midnight in a disturbing place in florence, two girls!)

shops are extremely expensive. souvenirs, pastrys, leather shops and beauty stores are OK.

i dont recommend you to have sea food if you are unfamiliar. whats more it can be really expensive. we mostly ate margarithas, pastas like spaghetti and risotto(you should try), gelatos(ice creams-oh my god!). definitely drink hot chocolate in verona, thats a must.

rome is famous for its fountains. any fountain water is drinkable.

ppl are often very helpful and joyful:)

you will have an unforgettable vacation:))
