  1. My family's favorite is the Luxor buffet. If I remember correctly, it was about $20 but we didn't have lunch when we ate there for dinner and it was worth it!!

If your looking for something cheap,my family often goes to Starbucks or Krispy Kreme(in many hotels like MGM and Excalibur) for breakfast and go to the Luxor food court for lunch (every one is happy!) then go to a good buffet for dinner.

The MGM has an amazing breakfast buffet!

If your on the other side of the strip and need something fast, there is a good food cout in the fashion show mall.

If you are on a budget, its good to do food courts and stuff like that and an amazing buffet for dinner or go to a early lunch early dinner buffet and you probably won;t have to eat til the next day!

My favorite non-buffet restaurant is the grand Lux cafe` inside the Venetian! Its like the Cheesecake factory so its a little pricy but I guess most things are now.

Have an amazing time!!! You can go to the hotels main pages to find out more!

  2. giorgios caffe at mandalay bay is good but expensive (italian)

  3. There are too many to list.

If you stick to the big, expensive hotels they tend to have the nicer best tasting restaurants. There are so many good steakhouses. If you go with a famous chef- Batali, Flay, LaGasse- you can't go wrong.

Roys is good but there are better restaurants esp for fish.

  4. Go to the Mandalay bay hotel and casino buffet located right by excalibur and luxor... on the first floor. Me and my girlfriend thought it was the best buffet ever! a little pricey but well worth it!

  5. South Point has a great buffet! Venetian also has great restuarants.  Stratosphere enjoy eating in the sky! There is alot to choose from.

  6. The Venetian has several good Italian restaurants.  They are somewhat pricy, but good.  The Chinese Restaurant at the Bellagio (I'm blanking on the name) is really good.  Vegas is also famous for its buffets, which are cheap, and have a variety of food.

  7. If you are looking for where the locals eat I'd try the PepperMill

I hear it's terrific....more of a fun 24hour diner type place (but of course with a Vegas flair)

I usually eat on the strip @ the hotels. Some favs are:

Emerils @ MGM >do the tasting menu

Joe's @ Forum Shops >outstanding scallops. Plus mean Bloody Mary's. sometimes you need one while shopping :)

If you want Italian you MUSt go to the Venetian

  8. if you want to know local restaurants  there are so many all off strip and you won't have a bad experience at any.

Morton's steak house is off the strip and wonderful but you pay for it

Lawry's Prime Rib or Steak house is also great

Roy's Infusion is off strip and great

New York New York has a wonderful Italian place

Monte Carlo's cafe rest is GREAT the portions are huge and it is priced well

avoid the Rio, Imperial Place buffet at all costs I have tried them numerous times and are horrible

for a good buffet go to Belliago it is very costly but worth every penny go like 30 minutes before the breakfast ends so you get a little breakfast and pay the lower price then you also get the lunch stuff and it is killer

Jimmy Buffet's place at Flamingo is very good and afforadable

Toby Keith's rest in Harrah's is my favorite the FOOD melts in your mouth

Harrah's also has a nice buffet

    MGM has some great places

Ceasar's in the forum shops there Spago and it is great there is a Cheesecake factory there as well plus many others Planet Hollywood rest is in there.

Hard Rock cafe has a place called Mr. Lucky's you have to try it ask for the 7.77 special it is a sirloin steak, shrimp, salad, and side.  they have the best nachos on there appetizers but it is HUGE

The Melting Pot is a great place

Really can't go wrong there is so much to pick from but I would highly suggest

    Bellago buffet

    Toby Keiths

    Mortons

    Hard Rock

I go to Vegas about 8 times a year I'm leaving this Friday have a great time.  It's going to be really hot make sure you pack a hat I'm a girl so I pack a visor and tons of sunscreen you have to wear it out there.
