Hi guys. I stay in Bombay, India, and I'm off to London for about a month. Can someone help me out with the following things:

1. How's the weather over there? what kind of clothes to carry? any warm clothing required?

2. What are the best places to see in London and rest of the UK?

3. Any websites which might help me plan my travel?

4. Where do i get the best whiskey in the UK?

Thanks a lot guys ...

  1. At the moment here in London its around 22 degrees, and  humid. That probably sounds very cool by Mumbai standards, but its pretty warm for the UK. It rarely gets much hotter than that for more than a few days at most

If you are coming in the next month the weather  can be quite changeable, short rain showers followed by bright sunshine. Maybe a light jacket and something rain-proof would be a good idea, but generally it should be dry and quite comfortable.

There's so much to see and do in London...its hard to know what to suggest unless you tell us what you are interested in!

You can buy good whiskey anywhere, but generally the very best is Scottish malt whiskey over 7 years old, of which there are many different brands.

  2. How about day trips to Oxford and the Cotswalds (beautiful countryside).

In London: the London Eye, Chelsea, British Museum, the many parks, Harrods, etc.

  3. Like the other guy said, at the moment its about 22 degrees, but it can be hotter! Bring an array of everything as the weather can change reeeally quickly!

Personally, I love being in Camden! There's loads of other places to go, just type something in on google.

    Threshers!
