  1. marties

  2. Brick Lane for Indian food, yummy!

  3. When we were last there, we were recommended by a friend living in France to try the Brasserie St Quentin in 243 Brompton Road, SW3 2EP, near South Kensington Station and convenient if you've just been doing a few museums nearby.  You can book a table on line (and take a peek at the menu for the day) or phone 020 7581 5131.  If you like French food, that is the place!  Authentic and inexpensive.

  4. Ciao Bella on Lambs Conduit Street - good Italian, very reasonably priced.

Also recommend The Quality Chop House and The Medcalf, both in Exmouth Market. Neither are too expensive.

  5. Zilli fish. Excellent food and service but not over-priced.

  6. Try some of these

  7. London is a big county,  specify where you are going exactly.

  8. Gerard Street for Chinese

  9. Joe Allens in Covent Garden. Good food, reasonably priced, great atmosphere and it's centrally located, so a good place to meet
