Going to make a new WoW toon, what should it be?

I want to make a new toon, what race and class should I go for, I'm more partial to classes that have a fair amount of caster ability but I'm open to other options

it depends on you am a warlock and i like it some people would,t but if you want to be a bad *** be a paladin your powerful and hard to kill because you can heal yourself.

I would say become a Warlock (pref undead or blood elf) because of the demand for them in PvP. I'm a level 70 Nelf Hunter (Reon, Norgannon, all rares and purples) so I know what I'm talking about. Warlocks are a great class to consider because they are multi-environmental. You can be PvP, PvE, or a mix. The best talent tree for PvP is affliction, and best PvE is demonology or destruction. But since WotLK is coming out soon, this is the most recommended talent build for Warlocks for PvP (look at sources). So, be a warlock, it is worth it.
