  1. Depends what you're after, but there's something for every taste.

You will find traditional pubs all over serving real ale and great food, like the Knott Bar, Marble Arch and Crown & Kettle.

Or maybe you prefer a trendy wine bar? Plenty of these along Deansgate or in the Northern Quarter.

For clubbing, there's the g*y Village or Deansgate Locks.

For restaurants there is something for every budget, whether you go to Chinatown or Rusholme's Curry Mile, or maybe prefer Spanish tapas or Italian or Turkish or....?!

Basically there are nightlife clusters around town catering for different people, whether it's students or bohemians or WAGs, so have a look at http://www.visitmanchester.com and have a look at everything that's on offer.

You could easily make a night of it in one single neighbourhood, like the Village or Deansgate Locks. Or my own neighbourhood in the Northern Quarter at the top end of High Street which could maybe start with a drink at Trof, then over the street for a meal at the Northern Quarter Restaurant, follwed by a cocktail across the street at Socio Rehab, then party at Bluu till it's time for a taxi home.

The trouble is finding the time and money for it all! Have fun!
